Under LIFE Saramugo Project it was possible to build a small dam for wildlife to drink from at Herdade da Contenda to improve the saramugo habitat.
The removal of exotic vegetation with slope stabilization in synergy with plantations aims to promote riparian vegetation and benefit the saramugo habitat.
